Late Bapuraoji Deshmukh, the Founder President established Yeshwant Rural Education Society, Wardha in 1959 with a vision to provide quality education to the rural and underprivileged masses. At present, the Society runs 22 Schools, 3 Hostels , 10 Junior Colleges, 4 Degree Colleges and 1 Engineering College. The Govt. of Maharashtra honored the Society conferring on it the Best Educational Institute award in 2002.
Shrimati Savitarani Narayndas Jawandhiya (S.S.N.J.) Mahavidyalaya, Deoli, Dist- Wardha was established in 1985 with Arts faculty. The Commerce faculty was inducted a year later. The Collage offers co-education in B.A. and B.Com. programmes at undergraduate level. It is a grant-in-aid college accredited by NAAC. The college is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. The college is enlisted under 2 (f) and 12 (B) by University Grants Commission in 2002. It conducts various activities like sports, NCC, NSS and cultural programmes for the overall development of students.
